Modernet will take part in EU-OSHA PRU/2015/)/12 Work-related diseases

On September 25th 2015 we were informed that the consortium of FIOH, Coronel Institute, TNO and KU Leuven is going to perform the EU-OSHA project PRU/2015/P/12 - Work-related diseases — 3 reviews of research, policy and practice on rehabilitation and return-to-work after cancer, work-related diseases caused by biological agents, and sentinel and alert systems in OSH

This project aims to carry out a comprehensive review of existing knowledge relevant to work-related diseases through desk research and qualitative research in the field, including case studies. The research will cover three different areas: rehabilitation and return-to-work after cancer, work-related diseases caused by biological agents, and sentinel and alert systems in OSH. It should provide information that supports the assessment of the true burden of disease linked to work, as well as providing support for the practical prevention of work-related diseases and reintegration, and the protection of vulnerable groups.
